Step-ups The Right Way

We include step-ups in our monthly programs so we want to make sure we are doing them the right way! It is easy for us to get relaxed with this movement, so we want to make sure we are not using the bottom leg. It’s important to drive through our front leg, the one which is on the box. While keeping everything tight, we want to keep our chest up, push through the middle of our foot and focus on the quad. On the way down, we want to lower ourselves by controlling the movement and keeping the weight on our heel. Check out the following video to see how to correctly perform a step-up.
